For all my interviews and more static shots, I use the Panasonic Lumix GH5. If I need more smooth panning shots, I use this camera in combination with the DJI Ronin S as a stabilizer.
For my second camera, I’m using the Canon EOS 700D. Mainly, I’m shooting b-roll video content with it. With its razor sharp AF (Auto Focus) and colorful images pulled straight from the camera, most of the time, it saves me a lot of time while editing the colors.
For all my action shots, I’m using the GoPro Hero 6. It’s video quality in combination with its size is remarkable. I usually shoot in 1080P 60fps, but in some cases I shoot with 4K 30fps, if I don’t need slo-motion in post production.
If I ever need a lightweight champion to shoot some quick and short shots right off the bet, I always rely on my DJI OSMO + camera. With its compatible size and direct connection with the app on my mobile phone, I can really shoot some great b-roll footage with this flexible camera.
Sometimes when you need tot shoot a lot of talking heads, it’s more convenient to use a script than talking out of the top of your head. So, for interviews or online courses, I’m using the Glide Gear TMP 100 Teleprompter. This device allows the person in front of the camera to read their own written script while looking directly into the camera! Saves a lot of time in the editing room and of course during the actual shoot.
